Celebrating Baby #2 at The Palace of Fine Arts - Family Maternity Photography

I am so thrilled for Laura and Ian on their growing family! They traveled from Philadelphia to visit San Francisco with their first born, and in between adventures to the Redwoods and soaking in the coast line, I was lucky to spend some time capturing photos of this family in their last couple months as a family of three (followed by Thai food!).

We visited The Palace of Fine Arts, a great place for expecting mamas, as it's super walkable and a gorgeous San Francisco icon. Although I was prepared with umbrellas for the expected rain, we were greeted with the most beautiful warm sunshine!

This family is just the right balance of cute & silly! We spontaneously met at the Palace of Fine Arts just before the holiday season for their Christmas card, and it was one of the most fun mini sessions I've had! Great to meet you, Monica & family! What a beautiful day at The Palace of Fine Arts to make some memories. I met baby Bradley and his parents, Grace Ann & Brad during their newborn session, and it's amazing how fast six months flies by! We met for some fun (and some elusive sun!) and baby Bradley made all sorts of silly faces while eating leaves, getting kissed by his parents, and letting his toes feel the grass and trees. Soon he'll be one year old and running circles around his folks. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Enjoy!

Melissa and Ricky's Maternity Session at The Palace of Fine Arts

Congratulations, Melissa and Ricky! I was so honored to capture maternity portraits of this gorgeous couple on the verge of first-time parenthood along with their pup, Hazelnut. We met at the Palace of Fine Arts, a San Francisco favorite. Take a look at some of my favorite shots from our hour together.

#Edymeesh 2nd Anniversary Portrait Session

What a joy it was to meet Michelle and Edison (aka Edymeesh) for their 2nd anniversary. Year two's anniversary gift theme is "cotton" -- and these two put on some new threads in front of the camera, looking as beautiful and in love as ever.

It goes without saying that they look amazing, but I was more so inspired by stories of their willingness to takes steps in the same direction together towards de-stressing, chasing good health, and ultimately becoming happier than the day before. I use the world 'willingness' because these things don't passively come to you like a wrapped present with a bow on top. You have to put in collaborative work together to make it happen, and never take those accomplishments for granted.

Anniversary shoots are a nice reminder to look at relationships in a different, refreshing way. Thank you for inviting me to spend this time with you! We had so much fun. Take a look below!
