Exploring my new hometown has been great. We aren’t in California anymore with this weather! It’s so beautiful — a true winter wonderland. :) Here is beautiful Jeel showing off the neighborhood in Sloan’s Lake, Denver. I’d love to do more of this!
A year ago today, Austin came into this world to join his parents and big brother, Hudson. Check out his newborn pics... he was so teeny tiny! He's grown into one of the most expressive, funny (yet chill) babies I've ever known.
We opted for a light and bright session at home in just a plain diaper, a traditional Korean outfit, followed by a little backyard sunset playtime in his "formal wear". Happy birthday, buddy! Thanks Judy and Anthony for inviting me to capture another milestone. xo
Ahhh, baby Hideo. He's special to me. Not only have I had the honor of photographing his parents over the past few years on their own, but I've also documented their maternity journey, newborn session with this perfect little boy, and most recently his 100 day milestone. The "fourth trimester" is a real challenge, and it is a huge reason to celebrate! Congrats to Edymeesh, proud parents who are on my "no sleep team". :)

She may be tiny, but she is fierce! My husband and I, along with our 4 year old son, Noah, have enjoyed watching Alex come into this world and flourish over the past 12 months. Just as we did for Noah, we took monthly portraits for our growing girl. Finally, at a year old, the celebration tutu I've been waiting to use came out of the closet, and the whole family joined in on making these at-home studio photos happen. Noah was so proud of his little sister!

Oh how special this darling family is to me. Any day now, Lauren & Matt will be expecting another little girl, and I'm so happy we were able to shoot these family maternity photos together at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park. What you're looking at is a super mom, who shines beautifully through all the hard work and pain of building a new human whilst caring for another rambunctious & intelligent tiny human (big sis).
I can't wait to meet the newest Van Horn... congrats L&M&S!
