The anticipation of Bradley's arrival was strong. Grace Ann, Brad and their extended family waited patiently for this beautiful first-born baby boy, and I was so honored to spend a few hours at their home in San Francisco capturing some lifestyle newborn portraits. Baby Bradley is in very capable hands with these parents who functioned like pros after only six days together, and having Grace Ann's mom to lend her hands (and love) was extra sweet. I can't wait to see this little boy grow! Congratulations!
Rubin Family Maternity Session in Dublin
You may have seen Jen's solo maternity portraits earlier, but this time we were able to include the whole family now that her hubby, Josh is home from his work travels until baby girl arrives in October. I visited the Rubins in sunny Dublin, California and we took a short walk around their adorable neighborhood for some family maternity photos.
A quick note about maternity -- mamas-to-be in their late 3rd trimester should plan on only about a 45 minute to 1 hour max session with easy walking. It becomes increasingly more challenging for mamas to get around this late in pregnancy so I will choose locations that are close to the comfort of home and easy to maneuver. If you'd like to have a set of memories like this, book me and we'll work out the details!
Lewis is always a joy to have in front of my camera because he gives me GOLDEN outtakes like this. :)
Melissa and Ricky's Maternity Session at The Palace of Fine Arts
Congratulations, Melissa and Ricky! I was so honored to capture maternity portraits of this gorgeous couple on the verge of first-time parenthood along with their pup, Hazelnut. We met at the Palace of Fine Arts, a San Francisco favorite. Take a look at some of my favorite shots from our hour together.
If you're interested in a maternity session like this, contact me and we'll talk details and set a date!
Pamchop In Her Natural Habitat: In-Home Portraits
Media producer, photographer, DJ -- this woman does it all. Pam and I both lived in the Revision3 & Discovery Digital Networks world for quite some time, and it was so good to catch up over some portraits in the comfort of her own home. Indoor portrait sessions give a sense of calm and privacy. Though I always love getting outside, I'm really feeling how the personality of at-home portraits comes through. Thanks for inviting me over, Pam!
By the way, I totally stole this blog's headline from her husband's comment on Facebook about the photos -- thanks, Steve! :)
Susan Sanders Portraits Along San Francisco's Embarcadero
I was delighted to spend a morning with Susan, starting with some coffee at the Ferry Building and a walk through the Embarcadero on a surprisingly sunny day. We've done some great collaboration of the minds years and years ago (in another lifetime!), and I've always been inspired by her professional and personal feats. :)
Here are a few of my favorite photos of Susan. If you'd like to get your personal branding and headshots in order with a session similar to this, contact me and I'll save your date!
