Cheers to a Successful Portrait + Tampon Drive for I Support The Girls

Women’s Month occurs in March, and the best way to recognize and contribute for me as a photographer was to create a tampon drive for I Support The Girls, utilizing photography to help make dignity the norm.

Fellow creative photographer, Brooke Austin and I partnered together and hosted parallel events at The Denver Photo Collective, eventually raising funds and a trunk FULL of menstrual supplies for those in need.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and to everyone who spread the word. We made a difference.

Denver Newborn Photography at One Month Old

Whenever I take photos of a newborn baby, I fall in love every time! I proceed to go home and gush about how teeny tiny and squishy they are to my hubby... And then I hug my own babies in disbelief how big they've grown. Here are a few of my favorites from baby B’s newborn session with her family and grandparents.

p.s. The pink wrap that you see baby in was knitted by me while pregnant with my own little one. I’m so happy to have it in these photos. :) The grey overalls for baby is from Jamie Kay.

Erin's Personal Branding Portraits - Denver Studio Photography

I’m excited to share some new work with you all! It’s Women’s Month, and I’ll be taking your updated portraits every Tuesday between 11:30am - 1pm at The Denver Photo Collective. The following images are representative of what we might capture together while raising funds and collecting unopened tampon boxes for I Support The Girls — the most worthy cause for Women’s History Month.

Just over a year ago, I responded to another photographer’s model call for a motherhood session. There, I met Erin Lassahn. Being a momtographer (yes, I picked that up from an Instagram hashtag), it’s rare to be a focal point of a session. Erin provided that experience for me and my girls.

During that session, I saw something that perhaps only another photographer/parent can recognize with clarity. The constant drive that only grows after 15 years of experience. The hustle from a parent of multiple kids (she’s got twins!) who has no time to lose. The acceptance of only forward growth. And obviously the talent, because her captures were excellent.

If you aren’t able to attend my Motherhood Sessions on 5/6 and 5/7, Erin is shooting at our mothership studio The Denver Photo Collective on 4/23.

I’m honored to have taken these updated personal branding portraits, and look forward to working together more! Teamwork makes the dream work when you have a community of likeminded professionals who lift each other up. =) Love your new photos, Erin. Let’s kick some ass this year.

Product Photography - World Map & Someday by Bebe Au Lait

My relationship with Bebe Au Lait is lengthy — it all started when I was pregnant with my third-born and I’ve been capturing genuine moments with kiddos loving on their products ever since. Here’s one of my favorite patterns — World Map & Someday. Fun fact: I secured a super snuggle blanket (huge adult size!) for myself, and my 8 year old stole it to sleep with every night. I’m not mad about it… :)

Here are a few of my favorite shots.

Pink & Gold - The Perfect Room To Celebrate Yourself

One of the most wonderful benefits of being a part of a creative community is having access to incredible styled sets, where photographers and clients create art with their own, unique eye. I recently hosted indoor studio “Pink & Gold” sessions at The Denver Photo Collective and am so happy to share some of my work. This room is available until 2/15/23, and perfect for besties, motherhood, and best of all - celebrating yourself in a safe, beautiful space (including boudoir!).

Book your session with me before 2/15 before this room transforms into the next best thing. :)
